Ok tribe. I need to vent. I’ve been in a bit of a gym funk lately because of an injury. So today decided to take my son and my dog Carbon on a mini hike. We parked and came back to this.

Bruno Mars may have dubbed it "fancy Coachella" (and he's not wrong) but we had a terrific time. Being in Northern California, I always forget that while Napa Valley is only 40 minutes away, it's like being in an entirely different place altogether. Anywhere that boasts of mature gravevines and rolling hills instantly whispers "Tuscany" in your ear.

Although we're never really had a bad winter here in Northern California, Spring is welcomed with open arms. Spring ushers in sunshine and warmer temps. We've broken free of our usual displays of sleek black, cool whites and modern greys. We've embraced all that is spring, i.e. rebirth and revival of the feminine mystique. We'd love to say "pretty in pink" but feel millennial pink has had its heyday and should make room for other soft, muted colours that also inhibit the feminine.
